It’s believed the Andalusian club agreed on Inter's proposed offer of 9M Euros. The Inter Milan playmaker Ever Banega is set to reunite with his former Spanish side, Sevilla. Reports from both Italy and Spain confirm that Ever Banega’s return to Sevilla from Inter is a done deal.
The midfielder joined the Nerazzurri on a free transfer last summer, however, the 28 year old found it difficult to settle down in Milan, mainly due to Inter's instability. The Argentine managed to net six goals and provide six assists, but that wasn't enough to convince Inter officials and most importantly former managers Frank de Boer and Stefano Spalletti. Last week, Ever's agent confirmed that his client liked the idea of a Sevilla reunion and recent reports from Spain and Italy claim that both parties have agreed on a deal and the transfer is set to finalize in the coming days.
On the other hand, the Stefan Jovetic negotiations have broken down between Inter Milan and Sevilla as the Spanish club refused to meet the Nerazzurri's final proposed offer after many days of negotiations.
Inter's sports director made it clear a few weeks ago that the Italian side will not reduce their asking price of 14M for the Montenegrin - later that week, Sevilla's president, Jose Castro, stated, "We are trying to make a huge effort to keep Jovetic, but not at the conditions that were initially worked out". Jovetic is set to return to the San Siro, but not for long as he will be used to reduce Inter's Financial Fair Play deficit of 30M Euros.
New reports claim that Roma are reportedly preparing a move for Jovetic. Roma have enquired about the former Manchester City man, as they look to fill the gap created by the transfer of Mohamed Salah. Roma's new sports director, Ramón Rodríguez, most commonly known as Monchi, was involved in Jovetic's move to Sevilla in January, and he is considering signing the 27-year-old for a second time.
Recently, Ever Banega’s agent, Marcelo Simonian, has made it official that his client will be headed back to his "home". After PSG's attempt to hijack the Andalusian club's negotiations for the Argentine, Banega's agent made it clear today that he will surely be moving back to Spain:
“Banega will go back to Sevilla, the option of going to PSG does not exist anymore. However the deal is not yet closed, but it is very close and at an advanced stage.”
