Handanovic 6: Continuing his PSV form the keep looked in all sorts this game. His passes were not hitting their targets, fatigue may be factor, deserves this 2 week rest.
Vrsaljko 7.5: Filling in for D’Ambrosio he was the perfect for the role. Managed to get up the field to get the assist for Icardi’s first goal, only negative is the yellow card he received.
Skriniar 7: Managed to keep the hosts at bay, played very solidly in defence, with the only goal coming at the fault of another player.
Miranda 4: Considerably the worst performing player on the pitch, he looked completely out of place. Allowed SPAL to score, and also received a yellow card. Needs improvement.
Asamoah 7: He seems to have settled into Inter life very well. He has not missed a beat this season, will play a big part in the success for Inter’s season. Has played better.
Valero 6: Played well throughout but tired throughout the second half, has improved throughout the season, but still much improvement required.
Vecino 7: Every game he plays he just develops more and more as a player, showed great characteristics, and following the lead of Nainggolan and Perisic in front of him.
Balde 5: A close runner up to Miranda’s performance, he didn’t seem to get involved in play much tonight, needs to improve greatly is he wants more game time.
Nainggolan 7.5: If he maintained his first half performance, he may in fact be man of the match, but he seemed to have fatigued throughout the second half, overall great display again.
Perisic 7.5: He was a completely different player to what we saw against PSV last Thursday. Had a great assist for Icardi’s second, and really showed class throughout.
Icardi 9: Another two goals to Icardi brings his tally to 4 in 3 games. He was instrumental today, and reminded everyone why he won the golden boot last season. Has really matured as a player, and can only see him getting better
Politano 6.5: Came on in the 67th minute and replaced Balde which was needed. A MUST buy for Inter at the end of season.
Martinez 6: Came on in the 77th minute, but did not contribute much, was brought on to help score a goal which happened almost instantly but he had no hand in that. Would like to see him start more matches.
Gagliardini NA: No impact on the game, he only came in on the 82nd minute.
Spalletti 7: Managed to come away with the three points, should of replaced Miranda with his bench options, but overall goes into the break with a 6 game winning streak.
